Panthers (ages 4-6) Our unique AIMAA Panther program is customized especially for younger children’s needs. The curriculum is filled with fun and repetition.  We focus on Martial Arts basics while developing large motor skills (running, jumping, balance, and strength), agility and coordination.  We guarantee that your child will not only learn a few kicks and punches but will acquire the skills needed to strengthen their character. Children will develop; discipline, focus, listening ability as well as gain confidence and the understanding of respect.  All this while enjoying great loads of fun through our energetic training curriculum. Youth Program (ages 7+) In addition to the children’s curriculum and benefits described above, the Youth Program includes an extensive self-defense program. The students learn to defend themselves  from many situations.   Tae Kwon Do promotes leadership, discipline, self-respect and self confidence in its basic curriculum. We do not charge extra for “Leadership” programs or “Black Belt” clubs. Our Youth Students learn leadership skills by taking an active role in instructing lower rank students and by leading classes. The students learn about responsibility; that they are relied upon to show up to teach when scheduled. Students learn about the importance of goal setting and that achieving them is important to success.

Our Children’s Program not only focuses on physical exercise and traditional techniques, it combines this with character development through learning respect, self-control and discipline all while developing self-esteem and confidence.   Our main goal is for our students to carry their experience from our school into their academics and home. With many schools cutting the PE program or reducing the level of fitness, it is important for children to participate in a physical activity; a healthy body leads to a more productive and healthier life.  Our Children’s Program ensures that your child will develop; physical fitness, improved co-ordination, flexibility, self-defense, focus and an increased attention span. Children benefit, not only from physical fitness and the obvious enjoyments of the group activity, they also benefit from an increased sense of self-esteem and confidence. Higher self-esteem makes it less likely for your child to surrender to peer- pressure, or to take foolish risks.  Our program believes in teaching good rules of appropriate and respectful behavior not only to be applied during class, but also at home and in school Although the AIMAA curriculum is demanding and the classes are structured, our Children’s Program is loaded with activities to create repetition and to ensure the students are having fun while learning. Children’s curriculum includes; Traditional Techniques, Kicking & Punching, Patterns (Hyungs), Self-Defense, 1-Step Sparring Sparring Board Breaking Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Ground Fighting. Students will begin to spar, first with an instructor and then as they progress with other students, to develop the understanding of real world bully defense. We add Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to teach ground fighting; how to defend yourself and how to get away if taken to the ground. Children learn, never to take the achieved skills and techniques outside of training, or to try them on family or friends.
