In today's society, with a constant rise in violent crimes, your safety is your personal responsibility.  AIMAA has a proven extensive self-defense program created by Grandmaster Hee IL Cho and by Grandmaster Ameris.  Students also learn realistic sparring including punching, take downs and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ground fighting. Tae Kwon Do has more female participants than any other martial art.  Besides getting you into shape, our program teaches a woman to use her entire body by emphasizing many of her natural physical strengths, such as the power in her legs, knees and elbows, while learning a method of self- defense efficient against a much larger opponent.   The atmosphere in our Dojang is very welcoming and encouraging, you will find adults of all ages, physical conditions and backgrounds. The students are very supportive and quick to offer assistance and praise.    Class starts with a good 20 minutes of cardio and strength training followed by stretching for maximum flexibility.  Then starts the fun, punching and kicking with traditional techniques – blocks, attacks and combinations. Do you feel the stress leaving your body yet? Heart rate going up? Burning those calories? Muscles feeling sore? And, you have another action packed hour to go still. Teen & Adult curriculum includes; Traditional Techniques, Kicking & Punching, Patterns (Hyongs), Self-Defense, 1-Step Sparring Sparring Board Breaking Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
